It's always interesting when countries like Switzerland, with their high quality of life and finite land, start openly discussing population limits. Economically, this could mean even higher wages and cost of living if the labor market tightens. Environmentally, it makes a lot of sense for a smaller, dense nation. But good luck enforcing it without some serious ethical dilemmas.

Seriously. We all know what happens to resources when growth is unchecked. They're just being proactive about sustainability within their own borders. Not every country has endless space like... well, not many countries do anymore.

Yeah, but 'proactive' usually means 'screwing over immigrants' when it comes to population caps.

Sounds like they just want to keep their ski slopes uncrowded. Can't blame them, tbh.
