Honestly, anyone surprised? Ever since he took over, X became a cesspool. 'Free speech absolutism' was just a dog whistle for letting awful stuff run wild.

The deepfake stuff is scary, though. AI makes it so easy for anyone to create convincing fakes. It's a huge challenge for any platform, not just X, to detect and remove quickly.
