Man, the EU's attempt to regulate the internet always feels like this. High ambitions, then everything gets bogged down or breaks. 'Age verification app hacked' - you literally cannot make this stuff up.

For real. Age verification is a minefield of privacy issues and technical challenges. Hacking that app was just a matter of time. It's almost like they didn't consult actual security experts.

Totally. They push these massive 'safety' initiatives that inevitably create more problems, then act surprised when it all falls apart. All talk, no real solutions, just more red tape.
